Ecological Thinking

This is the simplest, yet possibly the most challenging, principle. In fact you could argue that this sums up all of Ethiconomics.

Put simply:

a.is it good for me?

b.Is it good for my group?

c. Is it good for my community?

d.Is it good for the planet?

and there it is.

If we were to consider each and every decision in these terms, just how many of our decisions would withstand the rigour of analysis?

How many times have we ignored the planet or sacrificed our community interests for our own?

All we ask when making any decision, business or otherwise, is that first you ask, then you think, then you deploy. The decisions, of course, are ultimately yours; the impact, however, will always be far more extended than that.

Think personally, act globally
